Cannot remove adult family member as organiser

Mac Mini 2018 on macOS 15.6.1. Had family group previously and cancelled all subscriptions. Removed all the family members except the last adult that still remains. When I try to remove him from the group as the organiser, tells me I do not have sufficient rights.

Same result when I do it from the iPhone or the iPad, no diffrence.
