Presistent iMessage activation error
Carrier: China Telecom
Problem: Going to [name] -> Sign In & Security -> [phone number], it says that my number cannot be used for iMessage and FaceTime, and requires a active SIM to activate these features.
Attempted Solutions: Reset Network Settings, Logging out and in, Restart, Update.
Probable Cause: Some strange issues with this number, or that my carrier blocks iMessage verification services.
