Errors and Faults on 1 week old MacBook Pro
Hi,
Could anyone help please?
I got my new MacBook last Sunday and it's the first I've ever owned, it's had minimal use, mainly just the internet and GarageBand and its been connected to my electric piano via a new cable.
It now has many faults and errors in the console. Since turning it on this morning (just before 07:00, and now 07:09) it has 13836 messages in the errors and faults section of console.
I turned it off and on, did a full reset, reinstalled macOS, tried opening it in safemode (I followed the instructions, but I'm not sure it actually worked). Nothing stops the errors and faults building up as soon as I press play in console to stream the errors and faults.
I noticed the errors after I tried to open a GarageBand file in the MacBook , that I'd e-mailed to myself from a very old iPad (it didn't open).
I'm not using the MacBook since I noticed the errors (other than to try and get rid of the errors and faults). I'm worried that I got a bad MacBook and that when I do start using apps like GarageBand it will crash or have problems.
Are these errors and faults something that can be fixed? Do I need to send the MacBook back for a replacement? Or is this number of errors and faults usual?
Thanks for any help/advice anyone can offer.
