Wi-Fi connectivity issue with power saving on MacBook Pro 2019

I use a 2019 Macbook pro 32gb I9. Today I ran into issues connecting it into a communal wifi, initially it would try once or twice to connect and fail and then turn off my wifi device. This is indicative of a power saving issue from all the sources I have checked.

Below is the solution, step by step.

It would look something similar to this, after attempting to connect.

Go to Device Manager by going to the windows corner and searching "Device Manager"

In Device Manager go to Network Adapters and go to your Wifi Adapter. In my case it is a Broadcom 802.11ac. For most devices it is a Realtek

Right click your network adapter and go to properties.

From there, do two things:

Go to Advanced, then click on "Minimum Power Consumption", change the value to "disabled".

Then go to "Power Management" and disable the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Lastly, before connecting. Click on the battery in the windows bar and change the Power moe to Best performance.

Connect to wifi of choice, then you can return to the prior Power Mode.

Voila! Hopefully this was concise and helped somebody. Admitedly it was frustrating to find this on my own, but oh well.
