We don't know which iPod Nano model you have: You can: Identify your iPod model - Apple Support

Also we don't know which OS version is installed on your iPod Nano. (You might find out in Settings > General > About or look in Settings > General > Software Updates to see if there's info. about a newer compatible version you could download - Note: it is generally wise to back up data first if updating the OS)
