Windows PC - iTunes slow to open

Whenever I try to open iTunes on my desktop PC, it takes minutes to finally open. I'm talking maybe 5 minutes. There have been several times that I've given up and gone on to something else only to have it pop open several minutes later.

I've tried opening from the apps menu, from the task bar, and as administrator; same results every time. Very frustrating as this is the only app that I have issues with (that I know of). I've tried fixing, re-installing, deleting, pretty much everything I can think of.

Any insight and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any third party security software? Have you somehow managed to get your iTunes .itl stored somewhere that is mirrored to a cloud service like OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.? Would suggest turning off Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Share iTunes Library XML... if it is on, and you don't have third party tools that make use of it.
