“Recent Download” Apple email received days after initial download.

I downloaded the google drive app on my iPhone 16 and received an email notification by apple exactly 14 days later stating my account was just used to download the same app on a new device not previously used. I’ve had my new phone for 4 months now and I did download a few apps once I purchased my phone and never received this notification on any of them. Why a notification over this app in question, I can’t make sense of it.

Is this just a delay email notification?

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?
