White strip flashing in Chrome on MacBook Pro

I've had issues while using Chrome where a white strip flashes for about five to ten seconds then disappears. I've not had this issue while playing video games however it only happens with this specific browser. It never happens in Safari whatsoever. I'm using an M1 MacBook Pro and it's been replaced recently by Apple as per AppleCare. If someone could help me understand why this has been going on it would be awesome. I'm very confused and have never had this issue with applications such as Telegram, etc.
