"Apple Devices" does not remember my music sync settings

I have a problem where "Apple Devices" does not remember my music selection settings between uses.

I select all the albums or artists I want to sync on my Windows laptop to my iPhone and it works fine. However the next time I run Apple Devices it remembers my photos, movies, etc. but Not my music selections. I have to re-enter them each time I start it. Since I have a large music library this is time consuming.

How do I get Apple Devices to remember my music selections

I'm running on Windows 10 Pro, Apple Devices 1.5.4.96 (1.1284.24577.0).

I saw in a previous (closed) post that others have the same problem.

Am not familiar with PC,

Wondering if the "User Guides" for PC may help you find an answer
