Web video stopped working with YouTube

When inserting a web video with YouTube gets either a 'You haven't entered a valid YouTube or Vimeo URL' OR 'Keynote does not have permission to play this video' Vimeo works without a problem. Playing a week old slide show with a YouTube web video works. Replacing web video in that previously working slide with any YouTube gets either of the two error messages. Tried all the usual - restarts, clear cache, reinstall Keynote, OS update. YouTube bug occurred prior to latest OS update and within the last week.

16" MacBookPro M3 Max, 64GB, 1TB, OS 15.6.1 and prior OS version.

Vimeo works without a problem. Playing a week old slide show with a YouTube web video works.

First link is an active, public YouTube video. I tried several YouTube links from my own YT channel to a YT channel l manage to random public YouTubes. Errors are mostly 'You haven't entered a valid YouTube or Vimeo URL' occasionally 'Keynote does not have permission to play this video'

I have tried every conceivable way to get this to work as it used to a week or so ago.

As mentioned, I can run a slide from a week or two ago with a web video and that video works. When I try to replace that video with another YT (which is my normal workflow from week to week), I get the errors. When I replace it with a Vimeo, it works correctly.

Problem is specific to YouTube videos and one which has arisen since Aug. 13.

Problem exists on two other Macs (Mid 2014 MB Pro and an M1 MacMini) in addition to my MacBook Pro.
