No, only iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max can shoot in Pro Res. An iPhone 16e cannot.

You'd need to ask Apple that question. It may just be in the settings page, even though you can't use it. But we are users here on this user to user only forum. We don't work for Apple, thus we can't speak for Apple. Suffice to say Pro Res is not supported on iPhone 16e and that is supported by the Support Link I provided you. If you wanted a phone which could shoot in Pro Res, maybe you shouldn't have purchased Apple's budget iPhone and instead purchased one which can?

Does it appear as an option that you can actually select? Or is it greyed-out, to show that it is not available on your phone?
