Copying data from a hard drive of a MacBook Air 2020 M1

How to copy data from the hard drive of MacBook air 2020 m1 if the image output to the monitor does not work (so I can't see what I am doing)? As I understand there's no way to connect to the hard drive directly.

MacBook Air, macOS 15.6

Then , the computer has serious enough issue that warrants a visit to the professionals


Have the computer evaluated by the Professionals who have the Special Hardware Software and Expertise to diagnose the issue and offer possible solutions


Make an Appointment at the Apple Genius Bar or call 1 800 MyApple and have them evaluate the computer

The image output doesn't work, neither internal monitor neither external one won't work.

That sounds more ominous than just the display not working. With Apple Silicon, you need to be able to see the screen to select the disk to transfer from. If it is something wrong with the GPU, I doubt you would see anything, but did you try the procedure in neuroanatomist's post?
