iPhone 16 Pro Max is unable to find and connect to Wi-Fi 7 in Indonesia

Hi,

Please allow Indonesia to access Wifi 7. My iPhone 16 Pro Max unable to find and connect to 6GHz Wifi 7. My unifi access point already support and broadcasting 6GHz network.

Is that because of region block ?

Wi-Fi routers are built with downward (backward) compatibility, so even if your router supports Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), it can still connect to devices using earlier standards like Wi-Fi 6/6E (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), or older. The connection will automatically adjust to the maximum speed and capabilities of the older device, meaning you can run a mix of new and old gadgets on the same network without extra equipment—though the older devices won’t benefit from Wi-Fi 7’s advanced speed, latency, or efficiency features.
