Unable to send iMessage since last week.

Since Thursday of last week, I have been unable to send iMessages, even using wifi, from my iPhone 15. This is even prior to this latest update. I've had made zero changes to settings or coverage, and it just suddenly stopped sending, it will only send as either SMS or CRS. I've restarted the phone, I have checked with my provider (Verizon), I have done the reset to the network connections, I've tried both on and off of wifi. I have got so far as to check my setting against my wife's iPhone, and we had everything set up the same. I have logged out of my apple account on the phone and logged back in, as that was an option I found online.


I receive iMessages, as it's labeled as such right above and in gray from another iPhone's text. When I send any of them a reply it fails and resorts to green box text messages.

Has anyone else had this issue, or have any other ideas to try to make it start working?

It turned out my account on Apple's side was labeled as spam. If this happens, call or message tech support and have them check your email on file AND your phone number. In my case my number was flagged. I filled out a quick form, and 24 hours later it was working.
