M1 Macbook air not turning on, completely unresponsive

Last night I charged my macbook overnight, and this morning when I took it out to begin working, it wouldn't turn on at all. I held down the power button for 10 seconds, pressed keys on the keyboard, waited 5 minutes... no response whatsoever. Blank screen and no signs of any life at all, as still as a brick. If it were out of battery, I expect that it would show a battery dead symbol for a few seconds, but there was nothing this time. What should I do?

If your Mac Won't Boot:

Try holding down [command + F5] upon boot. It would clear caches. Caches are created for apps and system services to open quicker and ore efficient. Plug your computer into the wall, while performing this.

"In addition to what others recommended, did you have lightening nearby last night? Not my Mac, thankfully, but I have had other electronic devices destroyed by a nearby lightening strike. I hope you get it working again!"

Power Strikes and Devices:

Be certain to use a surge protector. And, consider using a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), so that you have time to save your data, and then perform the shutdown. Along with that, be certain to create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac every-so-often; that way, you'll have something to restore it from, should anything go wrong.
