how to get a photo from recently saved to photos
I was transferring photos from a thumb drive to photos. One photo ended up in recently saved and I can't move it to photos. Tried this several times all the same result.
iPad Pro, iPadOS 18

Yer_Man said "Right click on the Image and select 'Show in All Photos'." That's in (•••) on the iPad.
Also, you can sort the Library view in order of date added rather than date captured:
(This screenshot is from my iPhone, but it looks the same on my iPad.)
Recently Saved isn't a place, it's a list. In this case, a list of recently saved items. Every image is in the Library. If it's not where you expect to find it there then maybe the date and time is missing or incorrect. Right click on the Image and select 'Show in All Photos'.
Recently saved in photos? Those items are in photos already.
Thank you, worked fine. Thanks, Harlow178
Did what you said and found what I was looking for. Thank you, Harlow178
