MacBook Air Sequoia 15.6 texting issues

Over the past week or two, I've suddenly had problems with the MacBook not sending text messages. I see them on my iPad and iPhone, I can see them come into the MacBook, but will NOT send them. I have to go to my phone or iPad to send the message. Then after a while, sometimes 5 minutes sometimes days, the messages go through. These are within iMessages platform, not on RCS.

Are others having this problem? I've never had this issue before.
