Sound Check does not normalize volume in the Apple Music Windows app.

I am using the Apple Music app on a PC running Windows 11. The volume is fluctuating wildly between tracks. Some are whisper-quiet while others explode out of the speakers. I have to manually adjust the volume for almost every song.

I have Sound Check turned on, but it is not normalizing the volume. It's having no effect whatsoever. My question is: Is this a bug? A Windows 11 problem? An issue with the app version? Or am I missing something?

I have no idea, but I would recommend reverting to iTunes if it isn't too late to do so. Apple Music/Devices/TV each need to be uninstalled first, otherwise iTunes is limited to managing audiobooks and podcasts.

Sound Check is broken on Windows 11 and doesn't work. I have to change the volume for every song. It's been broken for months.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Got a pair of Genelecs and when listening with Apple Music the sound volume is changing all the time. Quite annoying. Settings-wise I have everything set so it should work.
