Hello everyone. I am experiencing an issue with the footnote feature in Pages. Specifically, when there is a very long footnote (in my case, 6719 characters), the footnote does not automatically continue onto the next page and is cut off, resulting in lost text. Has anyone else encountered this issue? How can it be resolved? Thank you for your help.

Pages was not designed to handle what you describe as a several paragraph equivalent in a single footnote character count. This simply invades upward reducing the customary Pages body text area in the document — until it truncates the body text on that page, forcing it onto the next page.
Consider far less content for your footnotes, or from the Footnotes panel, choose Section or Document Endnotes to preserve the body text on the footnoted page.
