Hi just flown a leg on Jetstar and my iPad Pro 16.7.11 would keep dropping the internal entertainment wifi connection. Wife’s iPad mini fine?

The network does have an internet connection.

Is this the latest iPadOS version for your iPad? If no, you might want to update the iPad to see if the issues persist
