iPhone 11. When I click 'share' to send stuff to people, it used to show me rows of my various contacts for Messenger & texts- now only 3. The rest of my contacts are still listed in contacts, though. Why can I now only share stuff with 3 people? THANK YOU!!

In the Share Menu, your iPhone will only display certain contacts, not all of them, that is determined you may communicate with during that time. That is determined on date and time but also frequency of communication. You will find that the Share Menu will update repeatedly based on your iPhone's sharing usage. If you would like to access all your contacts you still have that option by selecting the app below.
You can also hold on the Contact then tap "Suggest Less", which your iPhone will learn from and not suggest as often in the future then fill in other contacts.
