Ability to save different credit cards for App Store and subscription payments.
I cant believe that Apple (a company who flawlessly allows me to save every credit card I own to to Apple Wallet and make purchases in store and online wherever I go) doesn't allow me to save multiple cards to my Apple profile and to choose which one I'd like charged when making App Store and App Subscription purchases.
I own and operate 2 small businesses and run both of them from my personal computer, iPad and iPhone. There are plenty of times I'd like to be able to make purchases for one business or another but to use these apps on my personal devices. NO CAN DO.
Apple has told me the work around is to log out of my personal Apple ID then log in under an Apple ID which is associated with my business and then make the purchase. Then log out and back in under my personal Apple ID. What?!?
The problem is that some of the apps I use for business require a subscription that looks for the Apple ID that purchased it, so when I try to access it when logged in under my personal Apple ID, it tells me I cant access that info. Meaning I've paid for an app and a subscription that I can't use.
Am expected to then log out and back in every time I want to use that app? C'mon Apple, let's not spend all our time on AI when the OG - I still needs some work.
Crossing my fingers this will strike a chord with folks and Apple will make this possible.
My request in a nutshell: 1 Apple ID that allows multiple cards for purchases with the same Apple ID. Please and thank you.
