How do I turn off optimized battery charging on Sonoma 14.7.7 running on an older MacBook?

Is it possible to turn off the optimized battery charging feature on Sonoma 14.7.7? Articles seem to indicate that there is a setting but I cannot find it, nor is it where support articles say it should be. The MacBook is 6 years old and settings indicate excellent battery health. I like to keep the MacBook at or near 100% because power is unreliable and one never knows when it may be out for an extended period.
