Retrieving missing music from iCloud backup on iPhone 14 and iPad

Since Apple stopped backing up music to iCloud my library has gone from 4000 ish tunes from years and years to around 500. I dont have a computer just my iPhone 14 and an iPad. Is there any way to retrieve it all. Im gutted it just seems to have disappeared.

Thanks for reading and hope someone can help.

The iPhone's iCloud Backup does not contain music.

If the Music was purchased from the iTunes Store in most cases it can be redownloaded from there.

If it came from the iCloud Music Library (with an active Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription) , it is expected to be accessible from the computer that originally held it, or from the subscription service catalog if it was added to a library from the Apple Music subscription service catalog.

Did you recently cancel a subscription or turn something off?

It should not on its own disappear unless something recently happened.
