Icloud Password Manager Browser Extension

Hello, when using the icloud windows extension, when I go to autofill a username and password, it shows a pop up verification code on the same device. My issue with that is if someone else is trying to use my passwords, that code will just show on the screen and that's all they'll need to get access. Is there a way to change which devices the verification code shows up on? It seems like a security issue. Thanks!
