The payment in full is not a violation. Even purchasing excessive gift cards can be a violation. Gift cards are a cash equivalent and frequently overlooked as a potential issue. Cash advances are not permitted. But crypto currency exchanges frequently cause violations. The violation section is clearly labeled and if it helps I can copy and paste it here.

Banks take T&C closures pretty seriously and it’s unlikely you’ll be able to open another Apple Card account in the near future.

This is not Apple Support. But even if it was, they don’t have access to any of your account information. No one here has access to your personal or financial information. If the issue of why the bank closed your account needs further clarification, you’ll need to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), but unfortunately the current administration has basically neutered that agency.

If you have a complaint about an account, call the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at 1-855-411-2372 or visit cfpb.gov/complaint.

Thank you for the information. To my knowledge, I’ve never done anything but pay in full every month and if my credit limit was getting close, make payments to bring the balance down. Purchased were all legitimate at National chain stores.

would like to know exactly what I did to cause an account in good standing to be closed. So if I ever open another Apple Card account, I won’t repent the error.
