Massive iPad Pro battery drain strictly while using AppleTV app

Please help explain/correct the massive battery drain issue when watching downloaded content via the AppleTV app on my 11" 4th Gen iPad Pro. Watching just two approximately 45 minute shows that had been previously downloaded will drain my battery to nearly 50%. The iPad is in airplane mode, low brightness, with no apps running in the background. It only happens on the AppleTV app, not other streaming service apps and their downloaded content. It seems like it started after the last major software update (currently running iOS 18.6) a few months back. I kept reading that my iPad would take a few days to acclimate and would essentially correct itself, but it's been months and nothing has changed. 

In two screenshots I've attached, it shows roughly the same amount of time I spent watching downloaded content via both AppleTV and Peacock, yet the TV used 83% and Peacock only used 17%, when in theory they should be a lot closer. I also attached a screenshot showing where my brightness is at while the issue is happening.
