Connecting a Mac Studio to multiple monitors using a KVM switch?

I just ordered a base model M4 Studio. I want to plug it into my current setup which uses a TESmart 4 CPU X 2 monitor KVM switch which has display port video inputs and outputs. I'm would prefer to use the HDMI port and one T-Bolt port to feed the KVM input, but realize that I might have to use two T-Bolt ports. I already have an 8 Core/i9 iMac 27 plugged into the KVM, using a pair of USB-C to T-Bolt Avico adapter cables, which work great. Any suggestions regarding which HDMI to display port cable if I go that route?

Before I order some rather pricy cables, how are folks connecting M4 Studios and Minis to multiple monitors?

TIA

Forgetaboutit.

HDMI can NOT be readily converted to another High Speed interface (except single-link DVI no wider than 1920 wide). Resolutions above 4K at 60 Hz use a completely different signaling method, and higher voltages. IF you could find such an adapter, it will get ‘burn your skin off’ HOT in use and fail far too soon.

HDMI above 4K at 60 uses HDMI 2.1, which switches to a signaling method very similar to DisplayPort, but uses higher voltage levels. ULTRA or 48G labeled cables are REQUIRED.There is no official guidance for cable lengths, but similar limitations to USB or DisplayPort would be Prudent.

Hey friend, please prioritize using the verified Thunderbolt USB-C to T-Bolt Avico adapter cable to connect the Mac Studio and the KVM. For newly connected devices, keep the same cabling method as the original setup, as this helps maintain stable connections with the KVM. Using HDMI to DP adapter cables may cause compatibility issues due to the different conversion methods. Of course, from a cost perspective, the Thunderbolt USB-C adapter cable is more expensive than an HDMI adapter cable. Hope this post helpful for you.
