HDMI can NOT be readily converted to another High Speed interface (except single-link DVI no wider than 1920 wide). Resolutions above 4K at 60 Hz use a completely different signaling method, and higher voltages. IF you could find such an adapter, it will get ‘burn your skin off’ HOT in use and fail far too soon.

HDMI above 4K at 60 uses HDMI 2.1, which switches to a signaling method very similar to DisplayPort, but uses higher voltage levels. ULTRA or 48G labeled cables are REQUIRED.There is no official guidance for cable lengths, but similar limitations to USB or DisplayPort would be Prudent.

For newly connected devices, keep the same cabling method as the original setup, as this helps maintain stable connections with the KVM. Why would you need ANY adapter to go between Thunderbolt versions 3-5 and USB-C?

Those versions of Thunderbolt are optional enhancements to USB-C ports.

By definition, a certified Thunderbolt 3-5 cable IS a USB-C cable (just a high-quality one).
