MacBook Air not connecting to external Mac Monitor

Changing my MacBook Pro for a newer Mac book Air 2025. The Mac Motniro I have been using and works perfectly will not appear, and yes cables and connectors are fine. My printer a Canon MG8120 not working on new computer. The apple mouse won't even connect automatically after initial connection (at least that one connected but then doesn't reconnect automatically which is frustrating). So none of my accessories that work perfectly fine with my MacBook Pro are working with this new computer.

All cables and connectors are fine..... everything works with MacBook Pro but not with new 2025 which is incredibly frustrating.

Yes I have opened up accessory availability to Always.

please help. I can.t do anything with my new computer. it's ridiculous. I can't just go buy new monitors and printers and keyboards and mouses because I bought a new computer.

Mac monitors were discontuned by Mac a few years back, maybe you don't know them now. it is literally a monitor Made by Mac.... just a monitor nothing else. I think they are selling them again now. but yeah just a monitor made by apple.

like I said it works with all other Mac computer in the house.

also not just the monitor printer, mouse not auto-connecting..... nothing external works even though connected correctly with good wires. they work with other computers
