How do I remove opaque box on my iPad Home Screen?

I just got this new iPad and I’m trying to set it up. I see this opaque box on my Home Screen. I’ve spent hours trying to delete it but I don’t know how to fix it. I tried googling to see if others have this issue but I can’t find anything.
