homepod started to play with no command and stopswhenever she wants

With the last update I can’t control my HomePod.

it starts playing without any command and also stops whenever it wants.

by the way it is very annoying this to be happening in the middle of the night.

Apple is supposedly coming out with new HomePods and HomePod mini’s this fall. I don’t know if that will make a difference but some forum members feel it is a hardware issue versus software issues. I tried everything with my two HomePods to no avail.
