Behringer UMC202HD audio interface no longer recognized in GarageBand 10.4.8 DAW after Ventura 13.7.7 update

Hi,

So, after updating my mac from a 13.5 verison of ventura, to 13.7.7, yesterday --- which seems to have gone ok - Today ... my audio interface is no longer recognized!!

All my audio plugins work, But, they cannot access my usb audio interface at all - so I can no longer record my musical instruments through my audio monitors, or make good audio mix-downs either. Tinny audio from my laptop won't really work for me, and I've been recording at home for years now.

I have been, and currently still am using my Behringer UMC202HD usb audio interface, which is class compliant, and therefore should work ok with this version of Ventura, since it worked ok with the previous one. For some reason, it is no longer recognized now. Why is this??

I tried checking in the sound tab, the interface is no longer listed. The audio tab in my DAW, or my standalone audio plugins, no longer shows the audio interface as an audio output option either.

I really need to get this working, and really don't want it to mean I would have to go out and buy a whole other audio interface, just because i was suggested to get a security update.
