Ok.
Every airline and region can be different.
Some might use browsers or an email instead of an app; other technical means are likely … but a common trait is that they ALL require some method of authenticating YOU.
A generalized but common method for boarding passes is that you need to first be running the airline’s app on your device as an authenticated airline user.
As you’re nearing completion of the check-in, you’ll be asked for delivery method.
Select the Apple Wallet icon.
THEN the wallet app will launch and you must then select “Add” to actually place the boarding pass in your wallet.
