iMac 27" Os Ventura. When saving web archive Items to my desktop from my browsers they don't open so I have to reopen them from the relevent website

It should be as simple as double-clicking the .webarchive on your Desktop to open it in your default browser. If you are using the Finder's Stacks feature, a .webarchive is saved on the Desktop under Documents.
