Disabled non- trad student/needs MacBook Pro or Air

Hi, I recently became an older non traditional student after deciding to tackle an online Intro Computer Science class.

A month in, the family computer went haywire (monitor blinking out, tower requiring rebooting, black screen). It took 13 straight hours of me refusing to quit just to complete and submit a 2 hour assignment.

The class ends in three months. I’m in desperate need of a replacement MacBook Pro or Air, on a fixed income and lacking the means to buy one.

Is there an organization or anyone that might help me?
