back up on Airport time capsule

Since a few weeks, I can't Back-up any more my hard drive. I get the message that the file "Library/Receipts/com.apple.pkg.Pages10.bom” could not be backed up. See also the attachment.

Anybody with an idea how I can solve this problem?

If this problem persists, restarting macOS will probably clear it.

I'd remove the add-on anti-malware app, and would use the built-in anti-malware.

This is not the first report with that tool, and you can report this error to Bitdefender:

As for the the other ⚠️ shown:

Unfortunately, things are worse than expected. The error message above is an indication that your backups have likely been corrupted.

Try to run the Verify Backups check again. If it continues to fail, you will need to erase the Time Capsule disk and start over again with a new backup.

Unfortunately, no guarantees at this point because this will still not solve the issue if the disk itself is beginning to fail, which is a real possibility at this point.

Your Time Capsule disk is at least 7 years old and as much as 13 depending on then the Time Capsule was originally placed into service, so even if we can get the Time Capsule backups working again, my advice would be to begin thinking about a new backup plan that would not include the Time Capsule.

As you probably already know, the next Mac operating system will not support backups to a Time Capsule.

I’d wonder if something got corrupted.

Bob Timmons has the Time Machine side of this…

For the Mac side:

Boot Recovery, and use Disk Utility to check and (if issues are found) try to repair the storage.

Here’s a somewhat confusing mix of a RAID device and a non-RAID device, both reporting the 49218 error, and related details:

And yeah, a TC is old and can be failing
