Use favorite mailboxes in Mail on Mac
Add a mailbox to Favorites
- Go to the Mail app
on your Mac. - Do any of the following:
- In the Mail sidebar: Drag a mailbox from another section of the sidebar into Favorites. You can also click
at the top of Favorites, select a mailbox from the pop-up menu (dimmed mailboxes are already in Favorites), then click OK. - In the Favorites bar: Drag a mailbox from the Mail sidebar into the Favorites bar.
- In the Mail sidebar: Drag a mailbox from another section of the sidebar into Favorites. You can also click
The Mail sidebar and the Favorites bar show the same favorite mailboxes.
