iCloud Contact Photos and Posters not syncing

I have had my iPhone 16+ for about 3 weeks after switching from Android. One problem I have had is that the contacts in my Contacts app are not updating to show contact photos and posters made by the user. My friends are able to see the photo and poster I made for myself, but I cannot see theirs. I have tried unlinking my Gmail contacts and using only my iCloud contacts, but nothing. Any suggestions?
