iPad Overheating when using Freeform
I have a new iPad Air, but I don't understand why it seems to begin overheating when using Freeform. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I didn’t break out a Bunsen burner and calibrated probe to measure the device’s exact Kelvin output.
What I do know is that I can feel the rise in heat through the somatosensory thermoreceptors in my fingers. As the device heats up, the screen dims, and within a few minutes the Freeform app closes on its own. If I reopen it immediately, I can work for another 30 minutes or so before it shuts down again. This cycle repeats until I give the iPad a break to cool down.
Have you dealt with this before?
You appear to be the first one reporting this regarding the Freeform app. The standard advice in situations like this is to restart the device. Restarting often resolves glitches, especially on new devices.
