Wow! And why anyone would question such a thing.
Like a rabid canine that has no ill-will or intention.
I look forward to n/seeing more of those in my devices!
..A sense of adventure on a cool autumn AK day..🤣
I read an article recently, Slate.com I think where a writer, just to see what happened, actually signed up for a job someone sent them by text message. It was really strange and never entirely clear how the "employer" made much money from it.
I've been getting those from various numbers and email addresses for a few weeks. About two per week, which I block. Haven't had one now for over a week, so I must have the current sender numbers/emails covered.
This scam is older than dirt. They used to run in newspapers all the time in the want ads. The scam is when you respond, you have to pay some fee to get the info they mention. If you fall for that, you keep getting asked for more fees.

In the case of the article I mentioned, no, that's not what happened. Some money was paid but only a fairly small amount while someone one was spending a fair bit of time interacting with the "employee." Maybe it was a really good bot? Maybe the smallish amount of money that was page was worth it. I don't know.
You really NEED to familiarize yourself w/ some “basics.”
Here’s a good place to start:
Yes, that's a scam.
Ah, a new spin on an old scam. Or, something like that. 🙂
