my mail app is not downloading new icloud emails

My Mail app says that my icloud accounts have errors and no new emails are being downloaded. I had to go to icloud on safari to see new emails. The Mail app said I need to go to each account with the errors but there were no instructions or links to correct the errors. It all started yesterday.
