Safari Can’t Open Pages on MacBook (NSURLErrorDomain:-1), but Works on iPhone

I’m experiencing an issue where Safari on my MacBook cannot open certain websites (e.g., google.com, chatgpt.com). The error displayed is: “Safari can’t open the page… The error is: ‘unknown error’ (NSURLErrorDomain:-1)”

This problem only occurs on my MacBook — Safari and other browsers on my iPhone work fine on the same Wi-Fi network.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open Safari on MacBook.

Attempt to visit google.com or other common sites.

Page fails to load with NSURLErrorDomain:-1.

Affected Device:

MacBook Air M2, 2022 13.6 Inch

macOS Sequoia 15.6

Safari Version 18.6 (20621.3.11.11.3)

Additional Info:

iPhone on same Wi-Fi loads pages normally.

Tried restarting router, clearing Safari cache, and switching DNS to Cloudflare/Google DNS — issue persists.

No VPN or proxy is in use.

MacBook Air, macOS 15.6
