Apple will only have parts and repair it if your iMac's SUB-MODEL ( the part with a year) is NOT listed as Vintage or Obsolete in this Apple support artilce:

IN 5K iMacs, the display is one sealed assembly and any service requires installing a new display assembly. For this iMac, that is a very expensive service. I see used/pulled display assemblies stating at US$340 parts only. The total cost of the repair would go a long way toward a newer Mac.

If you're considering getting a new Mac to replace the damaged one consider the following: a 10 Core Mac Mini M4 with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD ($999 + tax) with a 27" LG 4k monitor ($250 + tax from Amazon.com)  is $1249 + tax which is $560 less than a similarly configured new 24" iMac ($1799 + tax)  re 07/2025.

I got the same Mac Mini M4 but with a 32" 4k monitor w/speakers and it still was $470 US less than an iMac.

Just some food for thought.

Why recycle a..........2015-2020 iMac?

I dont know what year, or what OS your iMac is running?
