Update to my post of July 2024 - Audi Q5e

As an update to my earlier post from last year -

After some software updates by Audi, the iPhone 15 is connecting WHEN the MMI Home Screen is not frozen/blank. This requires a complete reset of the MMI, though at times, after shutting off the car and restarting, it comes on automatically.

The issue of “No connected device” still exists from time to time, but I have had no problems making calls using the Audi system, just unable to use CarPlay. Once in a while, connecting a USB cable will help the car “find” and connect to the phone, but it does involve some persistent tapping on various items on the MMI.

The usual blame game continues …
