Joining CD Tracks in Apple Music

I read that you can not join CD tracks once you import the CD which I tried to do and of course didn't work so once I learned of this I deleted the CD from my recently added, etc. So my question is, now that I've deleted the music will I be able to insert the CD again and get the "join tracks" option? That option has consistently been greyed out so couldn't click it but hoping that by deleting and re-inserting it will work? I don't have the CD with me now or would try it and just hoping to get it resolved once I get my CD back.

Joining CD tracks must happen when ripping the physical CD. The Music App will join all selected tracks into single continuous track during the ripping process.

If the CD has already been ripped and is saved as files on your computer somewhere, then the option to Join tracks will not be available.

Also, when ripping the CD, the songs must be ordered by the left most column in ascending order and at least 2 adjacent rows must be selected.

The Join CD tracks option is only available if the CD is sorted on the left-most column of numbers in ascending order and two or more consecutive tracks are selected.

Note it must actually be that left column, not track number or album by artist, or another column which could give the same order, but not enable the option.

The image above is from iTunes for Windows, but it works exactly the same in Music.
