Old photos from 'hidden' album reappear in iCloud after upgrading storage plan

I have a very unclear situation with iCloud and photo. My gallery from "hidden" suddenly has old photos that I deleted 3-4 years ago. They were in the "hidden" album 4-5 years ago, and I deleted them from this folder and from the recently deleted ones. I had a 50 GB iCloud subscription, it was full, there wasn't enough space. and I decided to buy 200 GB on July 6th. After 5 weeks, I had this strange situation. Other deleted photos did not appear, only the photos from "hidden" appeared. I can't figure out how this happened to my old photos. I want to know why this happened. This is really weird, and very uncommon if not unique!

When your storage on your iPhone or at iCloud becomes nearly full, operations with the pictures can be unpredictable. One of the things that can happen is that "Delete" may not work the way you expect. There's no way to know if that's what happened this time in your case, but it's a possible scenario.
