My MacBook Pro M4 is not detecting the second monitor

Tried connecting my MacBookpro in dell ultra 24 hub with dell ultra 24 monitor. Mac is identifying only one monitor so far and the 2nd monitor just duplicates the first one. After several attempts of restarting or rewiring doesn’t help, by checking in display settings shows only one monitor. How to detect the second monitor in my MacBook?

I cannot find any Dell 24 docks or hubs. There is, however, a Dell 24 hub monitor that has a DisplayPort output port for daisy-chaining two monitors using MST. Macs do not support that. You will need to connect your second monitor directly to the Mac, or connect both through a Thunderbolt (not plain USB-C) hub, dock, or dual-display adapter.
