Using Apple TV and HomePod mini as audio output for LG OLED TV

Question

I have my Apple TV connected to an LG OLED TV via HDMI cable.

on LG TV Settings I have set Audio>External Speakers HDMI (Arc) and in advance settings Support for eArc

on Apple TV I have set Tv Speaker Yes

Homepod mini is connected and works fine with Apple TV

When I play anything on the TV the audio is mute.

Any ideas? Tried two of the HDMI Ports.

Using HomePod or HomePod mini speakers for TV audio (other than Apple TV box) has some requirements:

HomePod mini is can be a stereo setup, but not surround sound, so configuring as regular ARC works just as good as eARC.
