Laggy window resizing in Spotify and WhatsApp on MacBook Pro M4

I bought a m4 macbook pro with 16 gb of ram recently. everything was fine until i installed spotify and whatsapp. i installed their native apps, from official websites and my macos is 15.6 currently. when im resizing the spotify window, it lags so much that it is a pain for the eye. same thing happens when i double click to enlarge the window. the animations are very laggy. same happens in whatsapp too. everything is up to date. why this happens and how can i fix it?

Not required but at sometime may give us a more Full Overview of both Hardware and Software

Again, this is optional and not a requirement

To skip the Q&A session, just download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

It’s a diagnostic tool that doesn’t change your computer at all. It gives you a clear and easy-to-read list of both your hardware and software

You can get it for free or pay for extra features. And don’t worry, the report won’t reveal any personal information.

Once you’re done, just copy and paste the full report using the Additional Text Icon.

Lastly - should you decide to use and post the Report now or at a later time, we are willing to have a very close look and offer some insights

I agree, it sounds like you have a resource issue.

In other words, you have more stuff loaded than the Mac can handle.

Another good way to sort out resource issues is to use EtreCheckPro.

Download and run the free version of EtreCheckPro, from > https://etrecheck.com/en/index.html

Then post back here with your Report, as per > How to use the Add Text Feature When Post… - Apple Community

Empty Space is not an issue

Though both of these application will have a Negative impact

This is may not be an individual Application be the combination of applications, some loading at startup

Short and unpopular suggestion for some

May consider an alternative www.brrave.com which is essentially Google Chrome without the Google baggage
