iPad gen 10 not turning on after being completely discharged

When i went to apple support center they said that the mother board is faulty and to repair it costs 35,000 INR. Wanted to know if this is common as I have been using apple products and i have never faced a problem in a product fails in such a short time and repair costs is as much as a new ipad. This is very alarming and disappointing.

Hello vasanth1611,

Certainly, if your device has been checked by an Apple Authorized Service Provider, and if you've tried charging it overnight (making sure the charger is fully functional) to no avail, it could be a problem with an internal component.

Unfortunately, electronics aren't eternal or infallible, and we, just users like you, can't diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. But please understand that the repair cost of a mother board cant be the same as the new Ipad or 90% of the Ipad. Thats not acceptable.

Also with such a high quality standard that Apple sets on its quality, its important to understand if these are common these days. I am an apple product loyalist and its hard fact now that I had to face this and pay for a new ipad within two years.
